This means that it starts from Yamunotri and then is followed by visits to Gangotri, Kedarnath, and finally Badrinath. At several points in the Char Dham route, there are options for tourists to hire palanquins, ponies, porters, and even helicopters. All these facilities have been offered by the Uttarakhand Tourist Facilitation department to enhance the Char Dham Experience and provide the aged and physically unfit with a means of completing their Char Dham Yatra.
